About
Courtenay Martire

Born into a family line of entrepreneurial women with a passion for architecture, Courtenay Martire always knew she was destined for a future in the building industry. As a young girl, Courtenay bonded with her mother as they toured open houses in Dallas’ Richardson district and along the Gulf Coast. After a lifetime of gathering inspiration from coastal and historic southern architecture, Courtenay co-founded Martire Custom Homes Inc. with her husband Peter Martire and turned her dream of a career as a builder and designer into reality.

Prior to the conception of Martire Custom Homes, Inc. in 2004, Courtenay completed a BFA in fashion design and followed her creative nature to New York City where she garnered experience in styling for music videos, print advertisements, and commercials. As a designer, Courtenay’s work reflects her love of culture, art, and fashion and her knowledge of composition, texture, and shape.

Along with her understanding of aesthetics and building concepts, Courtenay allows her keen intuition to guide her projects, and it’s her ability to energetically connect with her clients that sets Martire Custom Homes, Inc. apart. By listening closely to the land and its inhabitants, Courtenay is able to create a soulful space that embodies the personality of her clients. It’s this unique gift of perception that ensures each Martire Custom Home captures the essence of its owners in both function and design.
